Safety precautions and operating procedures for welding insulated cylinders

The welded insulated cylinder is designed with a double-layer (vacuum) structure. The inner tank is used to store low-temperature liquid, and the outer wall is wrapped with multi-layer thermal insulation material. It has good thermal insulation performance, and the interlayer (space between two layers of containers) has been used. Vacuum treatment to form a good insulation system.

      The safety precautions and operating procedures for welding insulated cylinders are as follows:

1. The operator is familiar with the structure and use of the welded thermal insulation cylinders through professional technical training and safety education. After carefully reading the instructions, they will be certified to work.

 2. When the welded insulated gas cylinder enters the site, check the surface of the gas cylinder for obvious scratches or dents. Check whether the external pipes and accessories of the welded insulated gas cylinder are damaged.

3. When loading and unloading the welded insulated gas cylinder, it should be lightly and gently removed. Use appropriate hooks and hang on the long round holes of the two brackets to ensure the vertical lifting of the gas cylinder. The lifting slope should be less than 15°.

4. Do not roll the cylinder by welding the base of the insulated cylinder. Do not store, transport or use the cylinder down or tilted. Please fix with nylon cable when transporting.

5. If the welded insulated bottle accidentally falls down and falls, slowly lift it back to the vertical state, and immediately open the vent valve and gas valve to release the internal air pressure, and use the infusion pipe to discharge the liquid medium in the bottle as soon as possible. Mark "Cylinder drop is forbidden" on the falling cylinder.

6. When the medium is LO2, the parts and equipment matched with the liquid oxygen cylinder must be used. The matching parts and equipment must meet the cleaning requirements compatible with oxygen. It is forbidden to use the pressure regulator, fittings and conveying pipe on the compressed air system. Equal crosses are used to compress air or oxygen.

7. When the medium is LCO2, the pressure inside the bottle is not less than 0.5MPa to avoid the formation of dry ice.

8. Oil is not allowed around the insulated gas cylinders, flammable materials are prohibited from being stacked, smoking or ignition is prohibited.

9. It is forbidden to strike and weld insulated cylinders and components. When the cylinder is decompressed and deflated, the front of the valve port is forbidden to stand. Do not touch the cylinder to prevent frostbite when the cylinder, duct and external vaporizer are frosted.

10. The operator must reduce the pressure in the bottle to atmospheric pressure before replacing the parts or loosening the pipe. It is forbidden to carry out pressure repair or disassembly. Protective gloves and safety glasses should be worn.

11. Always check whether the gas valve and instrument of the welded insulated cylinder are damaged or not, and whether the rupture disk is blocked.

12. Familiar with the use of air valves on welded insulated cylinders. Do not use them in a wrong position.

13. If the valve is frozen, it should be defrosted with clean, oil-free warm water or hot nitrogen before operation. Do not use a hammer or other hard object to force a strike.

14. Slowly open and close the valve when supplying air.

15. When the work is completed, close the liquid outlet valve and remove the pressure inside the system.
